Carbon Storage Dialogues:
#2 Market outlook

* Voor Nederlands: klik hier *

Event introduction

The Netherlands stands at the start of the energy transition. Its success is not only essential to future generation’s  quality of life, it is also critical to maintaining the competitive edge of the Dutch economy in the long term. This is also what the Dutch government argues in the new Policy Document on State Shareholdings, which was sent to the Lower House of the Dutch parliament on  July 1st  2022.

It has become unavoidable for organisations to invest in the energy transition, and  in many instances it’s also financially attractive. These investments can however  take a long time before they yield any returns and they often come with relatively high risks. These risks are not in the least associated with a certain degree of unpredictability and the large number of stakeholders required to make a project successful.

During the Carbon Storage Dialogues we will be discussing the commercial opportunities and challenges of CCS with parties including the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate, GasUnie and ING.

This edition of the Carbon Storage Dialogues takes place on Thursday, 13  October 2022 in the Amare theatre in The Hague. Lunch, drinks and snacks are included.
