Dutch Exploration Day 2022
Dutch society aims at a future with more sustainable energy and a significant reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. EBN aspires to accelerate this energy transition. The value of the Dutch subsurface – and a thorough understanding of it – is essential to the future of sustainable energy generation and consumption above ground. Sharing knowledge and experience will support a broad range of geoscientific exploration activities related to hydrocarbon and heat extraction and for CO₂ and H₂ storage in the Netherlands.Sign up
EBN and partners will present several projects and case studies with strong emphasis on how Geoscience underpins successful exploration for heat, CO₂ and H₂ storage and hydrocarbons in the Netherlands. The Dutch Exploration Day content will be of interest to all geoscience disciplines.
The general time table for the Exploration Day is as follows (subject to change):

Venue & lunch
The Exploration Day will be held at the Jaarbeurs MeetUp (Beatrix Gebouw), Utrecht. Practical travel information how to reach the Jaarbeurs by train/car/etc can be found on the website of the Jaarbeurs (Dutch and English version). Lunch will be provided to you free of charge. This will be a sandwich lunch with ample choice, also for vegetarians. Coffee and tea will be available during the day in the central lobby.
