Thijs van de Vooren (45) is to be the new Chief Financial Officer of Energie Beheer Nederland (EBN) as of June 15. He succeeds Bas Brouwer, who will be continuing his career outside EBN after fifteen years with the company. At present, Van de Vooren works as Director of Corporate Finance, Control & Risk at Eneco.<\/p>\n
Before working at Eneco (since 2019), Thijs van de Vooren held various finance-related positions at Lehman Brothers and Shell, among others. Thijs van de Vooren studied Civil Engineering (TU Delft) and Business Administration (Erasmus Rotterdam). Van de Vooren joins Jan Willem van Hoogstraten (CEO) and Yolande Verbeek (COO) who together form EBN\u2019s Board of Directors.<\/p>\n

Thijs has extensive financial experience in a variety of positions, both at home and abroad.
