Master Plan for Geothermal Heat in the Netherlands

The Master Plan for Geothermal Heat in the Netherlands (subtitled ‘a broad basis for a sustainable heat supply’) has been drawn up and developed to accelerate the use of geothermal heat in the Netherlands. This is crucial for the Dutch energy transition.

It was drawn up by Geothermal Netherlands, Stichting Warmtenetwerk and EBN, among others, supported by the Ministries of Economic Affairs and Climate and the Interior and Kingdom Relations. Many other parties were involved through interviews and work sessions.
